One of the most fascinating parts of IBD right now is watching the pipeline rapidly evolve beyond traditional cytokine blockade.
Over the next 1–2 years, we may see:
• more convenient biologic delivery approaches
• new topical therapies for ulcerative proctitis
• entirely novel oral immune mechanisms
• and the rise of the TL1A class
The science is moving fast.
Still early. Still many unanswered questions. But it genuinely feels like we are entering another important chapter in IBD therapeutics.
Exciting time to follow the field.

Interception Vs Primary Prevention in #IBD
Consider: scalability , practicality , bang for the buck , cost , global impact
Please debate this : we thought long and hard before this 👇 paper
It’s IBD week.
In IBD, the hard question is rarely only “what”.
It is “when”.
When to escalate.
When to operate.
When to wait.
When to protect bowel, fertility, function and quality of life.
