@SandraSim16 I don't disagree with that. European Imperialism was kneecapped by the fact their economies were destroyed in WW2, and that workers weren't going to put up with any more militarism, alongside the existence of the USSR giving workers a potential alternative if shit got too tough.

They still benefit from, in particular, American financial systems. However, that doesn't mean Europe hasn't, isn't and won't be ransacked by the United States. European welfare states are being gutted in order to purchase American weapons
