At Joe Vieira Park, Guyana's first modern multifunctional park built by CSCEC, the answer lies in every detail.
Inspired by victoria amazonica, Guyana’s national flower, the park blends Chinese garden aesthetics with the local wetland landscape, with green spaces, water features, walkways and sports facilities creating a new place for the community to relax and connect.
Recently, CSCEC completed the first steel structure lift for the Diriyah Arena block, a multi-purpose venue in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh, marking the start of the steel structure construction of the project. CSCEC is responsible for steel structure design, manufacturing, and installation.

What does it take to build light rail for one of the world’s coldest capital cities?
With CSCEC as a major contractor, the first phase of the Astana LRT project spans about 22.4 km. CSCEC built 18.34 km of the line, including 14 stations, 15 sections and one depot.
As Central Asia’s first urban light rail line and its first fully automated driverless smart rail transit system, the line integrates key technologies including fully automated operation, contact-rail power supply and adaptation to extreme cold environments.
Now in service, the line offers Astana a faster and more convenient way to move.
A new light rail line has officially opened in Astana.
The first phase of the Astana Light Rail project, with CSCEC as a major contractor, is Central Asia's first urban light rail line and the region's first fully automated driverless rail line.
The line stretches about 22.4 km. CSCEC built 18.34 km of that – including 14 stations, 15 track sections, and one depot.
The project connects Astana International Airport, key city landmarks, and the new railway station, making everyday travel faster and more convenient.
At the opening ceremony, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev became the rail's "first passenger" and thanked the Chinese construction team – in Chinese.
CSCEC served as a major contractor for Astana LRT Phase I, helping build the line that connects the airport, key urban landmarks and the new railway station.
Now in operation, the line offers a faster and easier way to move around Astana!

First steel hoisting completed at Serbia National Football Stadium!
The world’s first “garden football stadium,” with CSCEC responsible for steel detailing, fabrication and installation, has entered its main steel structure stage.
With 12,600 tons of steel, over 52,000 seats and millimeter-level precision, Serbia’s new landmark is taking shape.
Recently, the Shenzhen Science & Technology Museum, built by CSCEC, won the 2026 Prix Versailles and was named one of the world's seven most beautiful museums.
Located in Shenzhen, China, the museum spans 128,300 square meters. Its over 60,000-square-meter facade transforms with changing weather and light, creating striking visual effects.
With its sleek, futuristic design, the museum is often called "the spaceship" and is becoming a new landmark for science and culture in the city.
