It’s clear that this is a truly special school community. The dedication of the staff to serving their families and neighbourhood shines through in everything they do. 🙏
We were struck by the warmth, kindness and sense of purpose throughout the school. There is a deep-rooted culture of service, hope and love that you can feel the moment you walk through the doors.

We are now three weeks into the new term, and the difference is clear. The impact of widespread illness before Christmas was felt across schools nationally and was largely beyond our control.
What is within our control, however, is how we respond. By re-establishing routines, maintaining high expectations, and working closely with families, we are already seeing improved attendance.
Data helps us understand the picture, but behind every figure is a child, a family, and a school community moving forward together. It’s this collective commitment that makes the real difference.
It is affirming to know that the CSI Inspectors were able to see and recognise the great work done by the staff of @StBernadettesrc in helping the children to #MakeChristKnown. A lovely report!
We are so proud of the school community
@StBernadettesrc for everything that they do to be of service to others and to Make Christ Known 🙏
We are delighted to be able to share their fantastic CSI report from their December 2025 inspection 💙
This really is a school where their mission statement-Together We Learn. Together We Achieve. Together We Grow in God’s Love-is more than a statement on a wall, it is a way of life!

Spotlight on Schools 🔦
We love happy coincidences like this-today we are focusing on @StPeterPaulPri for our 'Spotlight on Schools' feature and @CSEL_STOC is actually visiting the school later today!
Last year's visit was fantastic-we are looking forward to being back with Mrs Bates and the team today 💙
Attendance is Everyone's Business🎒🏫💯
Did you know if your child’s attendance was 90% at the end of December, attending every day between now and the end of this half term could increase it to 93%. That means no lessons missed, more time learning, stronger understanding, and greater confidence in class. Every school day builds on the last, and being there every day really does make a difference.
CSEL Executive Visits
