The government has imposed on Buckinghamshire a ludicrous target of 91,000 new houses - a 43 per cent higher increase.
Despite this, @BucksCouncil is finding a way to protect our Green Belt.
The @bucksfreepress has the good news about the Local Plan ⤵️

Spotted this TV on Longbottom Lane between @seergreenbucks and @JordansVillage - less than a mile from the Beaconsfield tip, where it could have been taken for free, and where I have now taken it.

It's been a year since I was re-elected to @BucksCouncil to represent 6 beautiful villages - @StGilesVillage, Little Chalfont, @seergreenbucks, Coleshill, @JordansVillage & Chenies.
There is nothing like getting to spend my time working for the area where I was born and raised.
Today I’m announcing the @Conservatives National Pothole Patrol.
That’s a fleet of road-repairing machines which could be deployed directly to fix potholes.
To get Britain working again, we have to fix Britain’s roads. And only the Conservatives will get it done.
It’s nearly Easter so there are two bank holidays coming up.
This means your bins will be collected on different days.
Please see the details on the graphic or check the web page below to make sure you don't miss your collection.

This is also totally bonkers logic. Increase employer NI, increase National Living Wage, increase the NLW rate for young inexperienced people, introduce Trade Union Rights Act, and then…increase taxes to give employers money to employ young people!
Welcome Dean!
Delighted to see Cllr Dean Field join the @Conservatives group on @BucksCouncil after leaving the @LibDems group.
Dean moved to the Conservatives after supporting our budget proposals, which protect vital services in Bucks despite £44.5m of government cuts.
Thank you to everyone who attended today's public meeting on the Local Plan in @StGilesVillage Memorial Hall.
It was good to see so many people ready to help protect the character of this very special area.

This year's show will be on Saturday 5th September.
Good to start my 2026 council duties by attending the first @seergreenbucks Parish Council meeting of the year this evening.
Local planning applications, tree felling, gritting routes and road sweeping were all on the agenda and are now on the to-do list!
It wasn’t unexpected.
As I said at the time, the chancellor’s shambolic dishonesty in the run-up to the budget, slowed down economic activity and killed growth.
Next Tuesday (16th) the Christmas tractor carols will return to @StGilesVillage!
Come along and join in the festive fun at any one of the 4 stops around the village 🎄 🎅 🎁
