@BillAckman@X Curious if whether, when you and/or Pershing are at fault, do you pay out 100% on the dollar, or do you hire lawyers to try to minimize your payout? Assuming the latter, isn't that equally despicable behavior, especially coming from someone as well-resourced as you.
@Geiger_Capital you should apologize to every fairly stupid person you diagnosed with Trump Derangement Syndrome, because we both know you threw that term around
William Buckley represented American "aristocracy" of the kind satirized in 1930's movies. he'd married into wealth & was a consequently a worse snob than most persons in his milieu. he was old-style Catholic--a bigot. of course, being attracted to young men, he was publicly homophobic; it goes without saying that he was sexist, & would have laughed hysterically at the very notion of a woman, any woman, let alone a "Black woman," in any public office.
truly hoping that Buckley in Hell is gazing upward in horror at US in 2024 including the deterioration of his beloved Republican party.
@lifehacker Why do this? Even if she totally lied, it's inconsequential (especially compared to the felon she's up against). But if she's being truthful, it's still a no-win, because no one has records from 1985, so doing this story is just doing a solid favor for the orange man.
@JayBienvenu Many choose to follow faith for their own decisions, but don't have the arrogance to believe that their faith should dictate what others do. As just one example (of many) Jews who keep kosher generally don't tell non-Jews what they can and cannot eat. Doesnt make them bad Jews
@raesanni That's a different point -- in 2008, Biden was certainly consistent with a strategic pick. In 2024, but I think Traister believes (and I agree) that the conventional Democrat "strategists" were behind Shapiro. Maybe the better word than "strategic" is "conventionally strategic."
