I am writing as a practicing member deeply concerned about the ground reality faced by stakeholders under the MCA Condonation schemes.

It is disheartening to see that ICSI is making day and night representations before the Ministry for extension and practical difficulties under CLSS/CFSS, while ICAI has maintained silence.

Are we as Chartered Accountants superior or inferior to Company Secretaries?

In fact our stake is higher - as CAs earn more from ROC compliances and certifications than CS in many cases .

why this apathy?
Unfortunately, in majority of companies, CS is just a filler, and CAs are the principal advisors.

If we don't raise the voice of our stakeholders now, who will?
The stakeholders are facing: Portal glitches and non-availability of SRN challans, password mismatch, login issue etc.,

If we give consideration to our stakeholders now, stakeholders will give due consideration to the profession in future.

We therefore humbly but firmly request CCMs of ICAI to:Immediately make a representation to MCA for suitable extension of CCFS scheme.
Highlight the technical and practical difficulties faced by professionals and companies.
Act like a true partner of the Government, not as a silent spectator.
@icsi_cs proactive approach is commendable, but ICAI being the largest accounting body should lead from the front. When we are right in conveying difficulties @MCA21India also appreciates?

I hope this voice reaches the authorities before it is too late

This has become a pattern: capacity issues and glitches peak exactly when filings pile up. After the data-centre disruption earlier this year, extensions were given. On the final day, the portal should be stable — not the opposite.
Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Ministry of Finance — both ministries run high-stakes compliance portals that professionals use on the same calendar. When systems fail on a statutory last date, the cost is extra fees, client anxiety, and wasted hours that have nothing to do with the quality of the filing.
