Pinned: I'm creating this account largely as a space for venting/engaging on #WWE/#AEW, #MMA/#UFC, etc. I can't use my main, since it's identifiable and some of the stuff I want to talk about here involves insider info I don't want tagged to me.
Touching tribute to his incredible in ring abilities. https://t.co/iZ1k30whzq @Anthony_Rumble was also one of the nicest, funniest guys you could meet outside of the ring, too. #RIPRumble We'll miss you, inside the ring and out.
Tim Sylvia is one of the weirdest stories in the history of #MMA/#UFC. Guy was basically loathed within his own camp (Miletich) for years, was one of the most successful heavyweight champions, and is still just a punchline.
I'm not a fan of BKFC and I think their choices of venue is influenced by their sanctioning. But they're way better than the other "bare-knuckle" orgs. Dada 5000 shouldn't be allowed near a ring, as a heart attack risk. https://t.co/4WuIw9Y7ps
I had it for Yan; I think Yan is probably the right choice. But the scoring system is rough and some judges suck; this wasn't one of the worst robberies we've seen.
If someone offered me money on who fights first, Jones or McGregor, I'd honestly take "neither" at this point. Talking is more lucrative for Conor than the risk of fighting. And neither he nor Bones wants back into the testing pool.
Conor McGregor is a scumbag; he's also happy to say stuff like this as he knows it builds brand and attention, even though he's not planning to fight in the near future. (He's not even in the testing pool, per Dana.)
Okay, okayyy, here is my sappy post:
The love I received at my @AEW debut was absolutely nuts. I fxxking LOVE my city.
So wild to think that I use to work security at @CocaColaClsm (formally Ricoh Coliseum) to help pay for University and last week I got to perform there.

The golden age of heavyweight kickboxing, and one of the greatest short bouts of the era. The fact that Le Banner survived that headshot is just unreal.
Obviously "Jim Cornette is racist" isn't news to anyone who's spent any time around Cornette. Or who remembers his departure from NWA. Or who watched WWE booking in the '90s.
But also, we should repeat: Jim Cornette is still a racist.
I really like the Andy Ruiz v. Deontay Wilder fight. I agree with the consensus that Wilder is a really bad matchup for Ruiz, but Ruiz is a tough guy and anyone who underestimates him deserves to lose their money, again.
I get the appeal of slap fighting the same way I get the appeal of the bare knuckle stuff. The BKFC stuff is bad because it's booked in an unsafe manner; this slap fighting stuff *cannot* be booked in a safe manner. The CTE in these guys is going to be another tier.
Slap Fighting will now be regulated by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Dana White's Power Slap League is targeting its first event in November or December at the UFC Apex. Broadcast details not revealed, but they are targeting a "major network."
.@The_MJF has the potential to be the best character in the business. (And I wish they'd put him over Punk; I think, in retrospect, that's going to be viewed as a minor misstep.) This seems like a good storyline to continue to develop him.
The @boy_myth_legend singles push was inevitable. I wouldn't have written it this way, but it makes sense. Need to keep him face; obviously want to do something with @luchasaurus, who's a massive talent but best in tag team action. #AEWDynamite Makes sense.
I haven't been on here much lately, but I'm a bit surprised that the discussion of the Kambosos fans booing the American national anthem didn't involve people pointing out that Aussie sports fans are famously among the most racist in the world.
A lot of people disrespect Sapp as unskilled; he wasn't a technical wizard, but in many of his striking bouts, he had good strategy. Obviously @JoshLBarnett deserves credit for the Hoost wars, too. https://t.co/x61lT9WXCG Glad @LawrenceKenshin did this video. Great nostalgia.
I have no idea if Anderson Silva will actually knock out Jake Paul. I hope he does (though, TBH, Jake Paul has gotten some MMA fighters seriously paid), just to end the hype train.
It's easy to make fun of "slapfighting," partly because it's a really, really bad name. But I've watched the videos and is pretty entertaining. It's not XArm, where the actual product is just shit. https://t.co/pg8K2EtJFH
