Students got to step into the world of the famous French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The Renoir archivist shared stories about Renoirβs life, his art, and his unique approach to painting and printmaking. Inspired, our students painted their own beautiful vases of flowersβjust like Renoir! πΈποΈ
And then⦠a once-in-a-lifetime surprise!
Madam Renoir, widow of Pierre-Auguste Renoirβs youngest grandson, Paul Renoir, visited the students, greeted them personally, and placed the official Renoir seal on each childβs painting. ποΈ
There is only one Renoir stamp in the world, and it belongs to her estate. Now, each of our students has a truly special connection to the Renoir legacy. π«
