She was sick on Monday, taken to mbagathi hospital and afterwards referred to Kenyatta national hospital. She died Wednesday morning. She left behind three children, Daniel Wafula, Naomi and Gift. Imagine going to Nairobi from Embu. You get to Mwea town where a woman asks you if you're headed for Nairobi. She's willing to pay kshs 400 to Nairobi. Remember this is your private vehicle. You feel the 400 can buy you tea or fuel, so let's do it.

She gets into the car and off you go. On reaching Nairobi, you ask for the 400 and she tells you 'nipatie 10k yangu!'
