Well - quite small as seen last week at Menlo Systems where Dongbo Wang installed a laser developed at Ghent University together with Parvez Islam and Richard Zeltner! ๐บ

EPFL has developed the ultra-low loss fabrication of photonic integrated circuit-based #Si3N4 microresonators to realize the core building block of chip-scale atomic clocks. Using the pulse pumping technique, we will generate an octave spanning microcomb centered at 1310 nm.#CSOC
