All stakeholders must make deliberate decisive efforts to give the African Child the foundation for a bright future.
It is not a favour but their right!!
Today, as we commemorate the #DayOfTheAfricanChild, we unite under the theme "Education for All Children in Africa: The Time is Now."
This powerful theme aligns with the @_AfricanUnion's #YearOfEducation, emphasizing the urgency and importance of accessible #education for every child across 🌍.
Education is not just a fundamental #humanright but a cornerstone for development and empowerment. It opens doors to opportunities, nurtures innovation, and builds resilient communities. Yet, millions of African children still face significant barriers to accessing quality education. These barriers include poverty, gender discrimination, conflict, and inadequate infrastructure.
The time to act is now. We urge CSOs, governments, communities, educators, and international partners to collaborate to ensure that every African child has the chance to learn and thrive. This means investing in educational infrastructure, training and supporting #teachers, and creating inclusive policies that leave no child behind.
