@cydikal@UmbraInfinite@jukins5@JamiesAct We aren’t bothered, we’ve just been where you are, and now that we’ve been to the pc side of the fence and seen how great it is, we want to share that with you guys. Asshurt isn’t the word, it’s more pity. I’ve never seen someone go to pc and say they’ll get the next gen console
@DialgaMarine92@Lacymonster582@JamiesAct I’ll admit, Sony sells the consoles at a loss and gets bulk discounts on parts, it’s objectively impossible to build an equivalent pc unless you snag great used deals. But remember, a ps5 can game and play media. That’s it. Pc does incomparably more.
@B37Brian@JamiesAct Fact is, pc is going to be the last one standing. The software freedom, multipurpose functionality, more powerful hardware, and free market competition all benefiting the end user will eat evermore into the console market as mega corps infect it with greed.
@KuroNoYaiba97@JamiesAct None of us care, we’re just trying to warn you that you’re making an objectively bad value purchase. We’re trying to help you guys see the light. I used to be a Sony guy too, and trust me, you’re getting fucked.
@PS5Updates Yah, this is already a miss for me. my ps5 is already powerful enough to the point where I can play exclusives with tolerable performance. It serves its purpose as a travel system and a backup to my pc.
@SpawnPoiint Physical. No company is gunna come in after the fact and take my ability to play games I paid for. Learned the hard way when a charge got accidentally marked as fraud by my credit card company. It was like 1 regular $70 game. Over $70, I lost access to ALL of MY digital media
