October is National Domestic Violence Awareness month. We have long committed to ending gender-based violence w/ our support of DV programs and shelters. Through our support to #TogetherForHer housed @CARE and @UNTrustFundEVAW we are expanding our reach to end violence globally.
All communication in a healthy relationship should be respectful, whether that's in person, online, or over the phone. It's never okay for your partner to use words or actions to harm you, lower your self-esteem, or manipulate you.
If you can’t think of anything comforting to say to someone, who experienced sexual assault, we have a few suggestions. Take notes. ✍🏽

2. It’s not your fault.
3. I care about you and I’m here to listen.

Consent is an agreement between participants to engage. There are many ways to give consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. An individual who seeks to withdraw must communicate, through action OR clear words. If consent is withdrawn, the activity must cease immediately.
