#OTD in 2012, Martha Tolles was interviewed for our El Toro MCAS #oralhistory project. She discussed her career as an author of children’s books; marrying husband Roy, who served as a fighter pilot; and recalled life during WWII. In 2021 Tolles celebrated her 100th birthday.
