Women's suffrage advocate/leader Victoria Woodhull born in OH on 9/23/1838. In 1872 she became first woman to run for President of the United States as Equal Rights Party candidate. Her running mate was Frederick Douglass (later named D.C. Register of Deeds by Pres. Garfield).
