In our ward, 50.8% of children live in poverty. Can you imagine the feeling going through these families as @MarcusRashford proposal for free school meals was rejected. The @HalifaxFridge is open 7 days a week for every family.

Launching a community fridge in normal circumstances can be a bit of a challenge and during a global pandemic, that tad bit trickier. But, people of Halifax, you came through.

Through your selfless generosity, hundreds of people from Calderdale won't go to sleep hungry.
