@alanalda She could be funny, flirty, aloof, be the butt of the joke, she could play the laughs, then she could get real and break your heart. All in one scene.
@OlsterB @Dan4606 @anon_opin It’s not cgi - the shiny, not quite right Alien was a rod puppet, and it was to quickly and cheaply composited onto the shots. I think the only actual cgi is when the alien is cooled and starts cracking
@grahammichael@pitchblacksteed He’s amazing in the Kate Bush video for This Woman’s Work. No dialogue, well choreographed and directed, and sold totally by Tim’s acting. https://t.co/ynKXb8TvrD
@forbesmasson@TRH_London Saw this last year, loved it - Forbes is great, and it was an all around brilliant cast, just so solid - interesting script, and a group working together like clockwork.
@raggedydocs A wheezing groaning sound is the one to seek out. Not a current series episode by episode, just randomly selected stories, and it’s great. And it’s the only Doctor Who podcast. Honest.
@AndrewRoy70@FayeEsq@anon_opin It has the best character work of the 3 and is more mature filmmaking. It is actually well structured, but because the narrative doesn’t follow an identifiable path; zombie movie, action movie… so reunion pub crawl sci-fi bodysnatcher isn’t as easy to grip on to.
