Mancity after 19 games last season:
6th, 31 pts, 44goals.
Rodri, Ruben Dias, Kevin Debruyne, Nathan Ake, John stones and Akanji were missing or picked up injury during that period.
But Man United sitting 6th with 30 points and missing 8 key players is not suppose to drop points.
Delusional fan base.
We put in one of our best performances under Amorim against title contenders Arsenal, without a natural striker (who cost a fortune) and with Bayindir in goal, who panics every time there’s a corner.
Then we play Fulham (again, no striker) and get outrun by a fourth-division side. That should never happen, no matter who the manager is.
Amorim shouldn’t resign. He needs to sleep on it, get a new keeper, and see where we are after 9–10 games. It’s not the first time a big club gets knocked out by a lower-division team. How does the same system beat Arsenal but not Grimsby? How do Premier League players lose physical duels to a League Two side? That’s not tactics, it’s effort and application.
There were clear signs of progress; the project isn’t close to finished. You can’t keep changing managers after three games.
I still back Amorim, and hopefully this is the wake-up call the team needs.
Sir Alex took 5 years to get shit right
Klopp took 5 years to get shit right
Its been 5 years/1 bil $ for Arteta but still not good enough for trophies
Pep took 2 years & that's only because he spent a bil $ in 2 years
& here we are calling for a managers head in 8 mons time
