Imagine its election day and reports are surfacing around the country about a noticible number of ineligible, foreign voters, were offered $1k to go to a polling place and cast a ballot. They're encouraged to be forthcoming about the scenario that brought them to a polling place.

The moral of this story is that our election system is insanely fragile. The essence of democracy is to convince enough people to commit to a single action and align their support. If the enemy is the system itself, it will take far fewer to resources to undermine than to win it.
