When I meet with world leaders, they often ask what more they can do to accelerate AI adoption in their countries. My answer for 2026 is simple: invest in AI skilling.

One great example is introducing students to basic AI concepts right in the classroom. Here in the Puget Sound, our Chief Questions Officer Trevor Noah joined hundreds of @Microsoft employees in December to lead an Hour of AI. Together, they helped thousands of students take early steps into coding and AI, building the digital skills the next generation of students will need to thrive. @codeorg @CSforALL

Yesterday we got to see #HourOfAI in action, as we welcomed DC's Digital Pioneers Academy and the Washington Leadership Academy to the @MicrosoftIPC for an afternoon of inspiring conversations about the future of technology. As we explored real-world applications, students also learned how AI works and how it's shaping the world around us.
