Pertes records = aucun boni.
#postecanada #economie #quebec #montreal
"Leveraging innovative financial tools."
That's Mark Carney's corporate speak for bailing out developers with your money—for the reckless decisions they made.
Stop the Carney Condo Bailout.
If Pierre Poilievre had:
> said "Make America Great Again"
> went another country & said “it’s good to be home”
> went to China & said he was "setting us up for the New World Order"
> bought condos from wealthy donors so they don't "lose money"
> got caught on his hands and knees with Ghislaine Maxwell
> negotiated a majority
> passed a law allowing cabinet to secretly spy on Canadians
> led the country to be the only G7 in a recession
> bragged about sending money to people who can't afford to eat
> missed 100 out of 136 question periods
> spent nearly a $1 million on airplane food in 1 yr
> reappointed someone who couldn't recall flying business class
> failed to deport 23 of 24 identified IRGC operatives
> allowed 577,739 deportation orders to sit unenforced
> rammed a spy bill with secret amendments
> had a 86 yr old defense board with the US suspended
> proposed a debt sovereign fund
> got additional tariffs from the US for not stopping forced labour imports
> quietly removed "forced labour" from Global Affairs' diplomatic goals
> sealed Health Canada vaccine injury records until 2040
> took 4 different positions on Iran strikes in 96 hours
> begged the US to let Canada back into trade talks
The legacy media would call it the greatest political collapse in Canadian history.
But it's Carney, so they call it leadership instead.
… SHAME ON YOU LIBERAL MPS. SHAME ON YOU!!!
… You are the only ones enabling Mark Carney, a rogue, unaccountable dictator who is deliberately destroying our economy and country.
… This week you have enabled his establishment of a surveillance state over all our lives, violating all our rights and freedoms. And now, for no clear reason, and without debate or consideration by the Canadian people, you have enabled him to return the use of banned pesticides. Pesticides which have been proven to damage our health.
… You have enabled him further sabotaging our trade relationship with our most important partner and closest neighbour. And he throws away billions of our dollars a week, most of it disappearing into the pockets of international criminals like his Brookfield associates.
… Do you not see that all this is his deliberate agenda?? Why do you continue to cheer him on, grovelling on your knees to please him? Do you not see the obvious, that you are complicit in the destruction of your own lives and the people that you are supposed to represent? Every one of you is 100% responsible for this.
… SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!

House of Commons was full of talk about forced labour yesterday.
I’d like to remind people... Mark Carney, while he was at Brookfield, was fined for slave labour conditions on a soybean farm in Brazil.
This is the craziest story I've seen.
@fordnation Doug, my man! You had a chance to do something about it, but you chose Carney instead… now please, spare us your faux outrage… just when you think this guy can’t be any more useless…
The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them.
While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7.
Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for.
We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel.
We will continue to fight for safety in our streets.
We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers.
I will continue to lead that fight every day and in every way in Parliament, across the country and in the next election, when Canadians will reclaim the country we know and love.
I am disgusted, and I am not going to dress it up with polite Ottawa language.
Marilyn Gladu crossed from the Conservatives to Mark Carney’s Liberals on April 8, 2026, saying constituents want “serious leadership” and “a real plan to build a stronger and more independent Canadian economy.” Her move gives the Liberals 171 seats, one short of the 172 needed for a majority.
That is exactly why people do not buy the noble script.
This is how Ottawa usually works. The speech is about conscience.
The reality is about power.
Suddenly the language gets soft, patriotic, and lofty right when the political math gets useful. We are asked to believe an MP was hit by a lightning bolt of principle at the exact moment her switch strengthens the governing party and brings it within one seat of majority control. Convenient does not begin to cover it.
Gladu says this is about leadership and collaboration. Fine. Then let voters decide whether they agree. That is the part these people always skip. They act as if a personal change of heart magically rewrites the contract with the public. It does not. People did not vote only for Marilyn Gladu the individual. They voted for a Conservative MP, a Conservative platform, and a Conservative opposition role. Crossing the floor without first seeking a new mandate may be legal, but it feels like a bait-and-switch because that is exactly what it is.
And spare me the line about “doing the best thing” for the riding. Every floor crosser says some version of that. It is the oldest detergent in the political cupboard. It is meant to wash ambition into service. What it really signals is this: I think my judgment now matters more than the basis on which you elected me.
That is where the anger comes from.
Voters are already drowning in managed language, staged sincerity, and plastic promises. Trust in politics is weak because people keep seeing the same pattern. Politicians campaign one way, govern another, then call the switch “leadership.” They wrap self-interest in national purpose and hope the flag covers the fingerprints.
What makes this worse is the timing. Carney publicly welcomed Gladu into Liberal caucus the same day, and the result is not symbolic. It materially strengthens the government’s position in the House. This is not some minor personal journey. It changes parliamentary leverage. It changes committee numbers, confidence calculations, and the balance of power.
So yes, I’m pissed.
I am pissed because voters are treated like props in a story written after the fact. I am pissed because party labels suddenly matter a great deal during elections and apparently not at all when power is on offer. I am pissed because people who were sent to oppose Liberal policy can simply walk across the aisle and help entrench it, then expect applause for being “constructive.”
And there is another detail that makes this smell even worse. Local reporting says that in January, Gladu had advocated for byelections when MPs switch parties. If that report is accurate, then this is not just opportunism. It is opportunism with a side order of hypocrisy.
That is the real issue here. Not whether floor crossing is technically allowed. Not whether Ottawa insiders can invent a respectable sentence for it. The real issue is whether voters still mean anything once the election is over.
My view is simple. If you want to switch parties, resign and run again. Go back to the people. Make your case honestly. Ask for a fresh mandate under the new banner. Anything less might be lawful, but it is not clean. It tells voters their consent is temporary, conditional, and easily bypassed once the machinery of power starts humming.
That is why this disgusts me.
Because democracy is not only about counting seats. It is about keeping faith with the people who gave you one.
#plc#lol
Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals.
In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more.
She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined.
She should honour her word and let voters decide.
Canadians grinding under Liberal policy aren’t forgetful, and they sure as hell aren’t forgiving.
The second a ballot box opens, your career will hit a wall like a runaway train with no brakes.
And spare everyone the bullshit fairy tale about “hearing from voters.”
If you had actually spoken to them, it wouldn’t have been some backroom whisper. It would’ve leaked, exploded, and blown this whole stunt wide open long ago.
You didn’t consult them.
You dodged them.
Because you knew exactly what they’d say, and it wasn’t going to help your little political costume change.
This wasn’t courage.
This wasn’t principle.
This was a self-serving, backdoor, bullshit-laced pivot wrapped in a cheap ribbon of fake integrity.
You took the trust handed to you and traded it in like a worn-out pair of boots the second it got inconvenient.
That makes you a reckless pedantic coward with a title.
A paper-thin fraud in a cheap pressed suit.
A turncoat with the moral backbone of wet cardboard and the accountability of a street dwelling drug addict.
And now?
Every word you’ve ever said, I am going to drag back into the light.
Every vote gets picked apart.
Every speech gets measured against this steaming pile of political garbage you just dumped on your own voters.
Not gently. Not selectively.
Relentlessly. Because that's what turncoat traitorious assholes like you deserve.
Because when someone pulls a stunt this brazen, this cynical, this shamelessly self-serving…
“Strong words” don’t even begin to cover the scale of your selfish screw-up.
They just mark the starting line.
You better hope you have no skeletons in your closet. Because there are some of us who will not stop until we expose them.
You should personally refund every person who donated to you in their time of need to affect the change the Conservative platform campaigned on.
I always thought you were a little light up in the cranial area and now you've shown that to be true. If a brain eating bacteria entered your skull, it would starve to death.
Do you REALIZE what you have done to every struggling Canadian who voted for common sense fiscal sanity? They should test your hands for gunshot residue.
