Today we hosted coffee and chats for the centre residents and our neighbours in East Wall. Young and old, we showed up to support each other.
Incredible to have so many of us sharing a meal with our families. Proud of this area. Thankful for our volunteers.
Much love ❤️

“If they (young people) didn’t want to do anything they would be seen as a frigid and it was more important to put the other person’s needs before their own.” This was particularly a pressure felt by young women.https://t.co/nZKp52AEEL via @IrishTimes
This man, John Reid lost his 16-yr old son in a car crash. He decided to donate his organs, including his heart.
Recently the recipient sent him the surprise gift of a teddy bear with a recording of his son's heartbeat.
This is the moment he heard it.
He was a great friend to my mother who chose him to celebrate her funeral. He chose, though, to celebrate her life. I hope they are having a good oul catch up now.
RIP Des
Remembering Father Des Wilson who stood with us in Ballymurphy and Springhill during the worst of times & resisted attempts to demonise our community. He also provided an alternative spiritual place for people who felt disenchanted by the Catholic Church. https://t.co/qhZjdzJGxg
