Academic Discourse is SO important for ALL students! So glad my day has been filled with many strategies and scaffolds to help support my students. #SETESOL23
Grades 2-5 created and designed a winter scene and snow globe. Then, they recorded details using Vocaroo for speaking practice. We can’t wait to share with our K5 students who will use their iPads to scan the QR code links and listen! @EllevationEd@gcschools#believe
It’s ML Focus Day! A couple of my K5 students leveled up in Lexia Core 5 and today we worked on identifying words that start with S and H. @EllevationEd@gcschools#believe
Learning about incorporating Live Virtual Expeditions in the classroom by taking a Virtual Field Trip to Lima, Peru! We were able to ask questions and talk with a teacher in Peru. #CarolinaTESOL2022
#TMSPD I used this strategy in my beginner ESOL class to help review for their Listening Domain test. The students listened to a prompt and raised their answer using different cards.
My favorite time of the year! 😊 “Read Around The Holiday”
My 8th grade ELL students are reading “A Piñata in a Pine Tree” for the K5 students from Welcome Elementary. @TMSCenturions@CMcDavid_GCSD@Educator86@title1chick
