He and Cwynn share brainspace like roommates - sometimes very awkwardly in each other's way.

Unlike the other shards Cwynn absorbed, Ardbert wasn't a smooth transition. Even into DT, Ardbert is still a solid "second" presence there, munching popcorn and cracking bad jokes
