Last year we installed three picnic benches on Riverside Walk. Since then, the benches have been put into the river on at least two occasions. This happened again over the weekend.

Only one more sleep until the lights are switched on in CSG. The event starts at 2.30 with singing and the brass band. stalls with goodies to eat and buy. Santa's grotto opens at 3pm. Carols by the infant school prior to the countdown to the lights being switched on at 5.30pm.

Best Kept Village Competition – Presentation
There will be a presentation on the village green at 10am Saturday 20 September. Lord Lieutenant, Countess Howe will be awarding the Pushman Cup to the Parish Council Chairman Gordon Patrick BEM. Come on down and help us celebrate.
Village Pond News. During the high groundwater event in 2024, the pond liner rose to the surface of the pond. Work to reset the liner and install one-way valves and extra ballast will begin on 22 September and should last approximately one week but will be weather dependent.
Buckinghamshire Council are running a consultation on new locations for CCTV. One of the proposed locations is in Chalfont St Giles. If you would like to have your say please follow the link to the survey.
