The market sold off today as new Fed Chairman Warsh struck a "hawkish" tone. He emphasized the importance of price stability numerous times. What he was intimating is that a Fed cut is not in the immediate future. Those that wanted a dovish pivot today did not get it. However, this is like taking your medicine now for long term benefit. It is similar to our war with Iran which has been politically divisive. However, it certainly will be long term positive for our country and the world while have been short term disruptive. War is never good but sometimes necessary as in this case to remove forever a nuclear threat. Trump is on record for attacking Powell for not lowering interest rates. Those that expected Warsh to acquiesce were sadly disappointed today. To me, it means a grown up is running the Fed. He has time and I am sure he will navigate the economic policy moving forward very effectively. He will be a brilliant Fed Chairman when all is said and done.

@TheLongInvest Apparently throughout past 48 hours Hezbolah violated ceasefire several times both by firing on soldiers and more recently launching drones at civilian territories. They have been shooting rockets daily at Israel for years.
