Charlotte Till I Die

MLS account with a future focus on @CharlotteMLS. Comps and gifs. Speculation, analysis, opinions. Not not a socialist.

I know absolutely nothing about the quality of the Australian league, I’ll be the first to admit. But that’s an impressive goal scoring tally to still be so young. I am intrigued

While we patiently wait for Charlotte FC to start playing, I'll continue gifing MLS games when I can and making some occasional player compilations. News will be much slower then when I first started this account since we thought play would start in 2021

Timbers win the MLS is Back Tournament. A great showing for Orlando City. Huge props to the MLS as a whole for putting together such an exciting and safe tournament when we needed it the most #PORvORL #MLSisBackTournament

Portland has definitely been sitting back to start this one. But they've started waking up a bit in the past few minutes. Love how Williamson springs to win this ball back, and a nice switch by Blanco. #PORvORL

Phew, really nice counterattack by the Timbers here. They come up empty-handed, but still lead 2-1 and are moments away from capturing the MLS is Back Tournament #PORvORL

I should have a thread rolling for at least some of tonight’s game. Might miss the very start of the match but shouldn’t be much

Maybe it’s just me, the more I look at the crest the more I like it

I think there’s a real chance we could one day look back on Charlotte’s innagural season being moved back to 2022 as a positive thing long term. But selfishly I’m so upset that any sort of timeline for news we’re all already dying for is basically pushed back a year lol

Jack McInerney has absolutely dominated since joining Oakland Roots SC. I was a huge fan of his early on in his career when he played for Philadelphia. He turns 28 tomorrow. Wouldn't hate giving him one more MLS shot in a role off the bench. He makes stuff happen.

@BoRoundNRound I consider myself very lucky, I only had one really rough day. The rest of it was just lingering stuff such as a typical common cold plus fatigue and loss of smell.

Sorry for no threads the past few days, I’m getting over covid. This tournament is wide open with LAFC being sent home.

[Charlotte Till I Die @CTID2022]

You can't keep expecting Diego Rossi to miss quality chances. Xavier Arreaga makes another mistake which leads to the Rossi chance. He buries this one and LAFC are through to the quarters. #SEAvLAFC

LAFC high press + Seattle trying to build from the back = Seattle is pinned back to start this one. #SEAvLAFC

This game has totally turned on its head. A few Seattle changes all at once have the Sounders looking like the more energized team. A huge chance falls to Ruidiaz who forces Vermeer into a near post save #SEAvLAFC
