#MastersoftheUniverse is a fun throwback to the 80’s cartoon. It doesn’t take itself too seriously with Jared Leto’s Skeletor chewing the scenery whenever possible. There’s a mid credits scene teasing a new character to be introduced in the sequel. #STMM

#TheMandalorian and Grogu is a fun Star Wars adventure. Bringing in characters from various parts of the franchise as well as nods to the original film. I’m biased as I saw A New Hope when it was just called Star Wars and loved it. #STMM

The film #Obsession is a simple and entertaining tale of being careful about getting what you wish for. It builds the scares slowly but ramps up to a memorable finale. #STMM

#TheSheepDetectives is sweet film about a flock of sheep that solves the murder of its shepherd. With great animation and a winning cast, the movie is an enjoyable romp for those looking for an alternative to martial arts mayhem. #STMM

Adam Scott stars as a surly writer in #Hokum. He travels to Ireland to scatter his parents ashes and deal with past trauma and stumbles into a ghost story at the hotel he’s staying. It’s actually scary and interesting. Mixing horror and murder. #STMM

The film #TheDrama stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson as a young couple about to wed when a game of telling secrets puts their relationship and outside friendships at risk. It’s ridiculous in spots but still entertaining. #STMM

#ReadyOrNotHereICome picks up as the first film ends and throws Grace into another Satanic family power struggle with worldwide implications and adds her sister Faith to the mix. It’s equally outrageous and funny as the first with the stakes increased. A worthy sequel. #STMM

#ProjectHailMary is a feel good story of a reluctant astronaut sent on a mission to save the planet and meeting an alien. It’s gorgeous, fast paced, and Rocky the alien is cute as can be. See it and smile. #STMM

#undertone is a horror film about a woman dealing with a dying mother as she navigates a messy personal life and remotely records her paranormal podcast when things become all too real. It would have worked better as a podcast. #STMM

#Pillion will be a hard sell for most audiences as it’s the story of a submissive man falling in love with a dominant biker in a complicated 24/7 D/s relationship. But at its core, the film is about love, self discovery and acceptance. It’s a brave movie. #STMM

#PsychoKiller follows a highway patrol officer on the hunt for the serial killer responsible for the death of a fellow officer who is also her husband. It brings nothing new to the genre but has some decent kills. It’s fine. #STMM

The film #Ironlung is based on a video game where the skies have gone dark. A prisoner is welded inside a sub and dropped into the blood ocean of a mysterious moon to save humanity. It’s claustrophobic and tense, getting off to a good start but wearing out its welcome. #STMM

#28YearsLaterTheBoneTemple is a tense direct sequel to “28 Years Later.” A roving group of psychopaths all called Jimmy and a doctor developing a friendship with an Alpha clash is a terrific movie. #STMM

#WeBuryTheDead follows a group of civilian volunteers in the aftermath of an explosion that has caused widespread death and random zombies. It sounds a bit silly but the story of love, betrayal and redemption works thanks to great work from Daisy Ridley and her co stars. #STMM

#AvatarFireAndAsh is beautiful looking and the 3D is immersive. The story is very similar to the second Avatar film and I wonder if Cameron has ever met a script editor. It’s not a bad movie just I wonder why it exists. #STMM
