The MPD has recently received complaints of gun shots on the weekends/evening hours. A private property in Middlefield was responsible. CSP advised. Typically MPD does not conduct training on the weekends/night. Please feel free to call with any future gun shot complaints.

Ready was last seen on November 2nd. He has multiple medical conditions and has difficulty walking uses a walker. Possibly in Hartford

10/19/2020, the Middletown Police Department responded to the report of an injured employee at FedEx in Middletown, CT. The employee received a minor injury and it is not considered life threatening.
This incident is being investigated as a work place injury/OSHA contacted.

Shortly after midnight on 7/30/20 MPD & FPD responded to a fire on Trolley Crossing Lane.
MPD is working in conjunction with WFD MFD and CSP-FEIU to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
