For everyone who refuses to believe New York is felling hundreds of thousands of trees to make way for commercial solar… I give you this submitted video from earlier this year.

Taken at Camp Smith, over 50 acres of forest, full of bears, deer, beavers, and bald eagles, was felled for a 20MW solar complex.

Since commercial solar only converts at 15% of its annual potential in Upstate New York, this hideous complex will end up generating a measly 3MW of power annually.

We need to save the environment from the people who want “to save the environment.”
