I’m seeing a lot of FUD directed at Fourmeme because of this token situation.

People say that Fourmeme publicly followed the project and even bought in around a $2M market cap. Looking at it objectively, it makes absolutely no sense for this outcome to be in Fourmeme’s interest. Their goal has always been to help good projects grow and succeed.

The reality is that mistakes happen. We all misread situations sometimes. We all get deceived from time to time. But the idea that Fourmeme intentionally set out to harm people? No chance. You won’t convince me of that.

Should Fourmeme do something about what happened? Maybe. What exactly, I’m not sure. That’s for them and the community to discuss.

What I do know is that the Fourmeme team are good people. They work hard, they’ve always tried to be fair, and they genuinely care about the ecosystem.

I hope the best outcome for everyone involved.
