@ChristopherHale I was blessed to visit many of them and it left a deep impact on on me as a young man and later an Army Officer. The thought that we stand on the shoulders of those men and their families who paid such a price still humbles me.
@JimHendley4NC I thought it was really good. A bit more gritty perhaps but the Pacific was a really nasty campaign. The main characters lacked some of the charisma that Easy Company provided but I thought it was realistic. BoB showed a lot more of the downtime than the Pacific did.
@CharlesMullins2 Skeptical of hydrogen as a fuel due to the poor volumetric energy and power required to refine it, but this is still worthwhile science and it would lower the environmental impact of coal which will be with us for a long time.
You post great content BTW. ๐
@SandyofCthulhu While not the best, most important, or the prettiest, the Mosquito still amazes me to this day. There is something magical about it from the way it was built to its versatility.
This is not only false, it is absurd. Cooling electronics inside a fixed facility uses a closed loop system. One irony that is missed by most is the impact of AI on agriculture in the future and this is especially true for irrigation where less water will do "more work" to increase crop yields.
Traditional methods of irrigation, where most of our water is used, is highly inefficient. My family learned this when we switched to drip tape in our garden and spot irrigation in our orchard.
@sjwolosz123 Let me guess....... if we pay more in taxes and buy "orbit credits" from Gore and his friends we can stop this otherwise we will all be dead in 10 years?
All you have to do is compare how they behaved with Biden/Obama and then watch these interviews where these "know-nothing idiots" argue with the President of the US like they are scorned teenage children.
You don't have to like Trump but he is the President so why do you argue with him instead of simply interviewing him? It's the same with congressional oversight and both sides do it there as well, but it's much worse when it is the President.
We learn nothing other than this unelected Barbie is convinced she knows more about what he is doing than he does?
If you cannot secure your elections and remain a "one-party" state it will only get worse. Period.
I do believe the state "leans democrat" but without having true options the party in control no longer has to work for your interests so they focus on their own. That is the rub.
Having options forces both parties to try and do popular things that make things better for voters. Having no option removes the incentive.
@thetripathi58 People make a mistake believing credit is "about them".
It's about the banks and the mathematical evaluation of how much they might make from you.
