TFC Greene lost his battle with cancer caused by exposure to toxins at the World Trade Center site on 9/11/2001 when he and his k-9 partner responded to search for survivors.

@CT_STATE_POLICE May a great man come to rest. I never knew Trooper Pelletier, but in his final moments he was protecting CT residents from bad drivers. Sadly, he died because of one. Rest in peace Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier.

TFC Pelletier was conducting a traffic stop on I-84 in Southington when he was fatally struck by an impaired driver. TFC Pelletier was assigned to Troop H, Hartford. and served as a K9 Handler attached to the Emergency Services Unit.
