Ex CENTRE FIRE VI: done. Many thanks to John Lyon CCF for giving 8 of our @stbenedicts & @WisemanEaling Cadets a dayβs shooting; wet at times, grey & windy, but always a treat to fire live. #cadetexperience

On behalf of CTT Scotland, I wish all CTTs across the UK a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year. 2025 has seen great successes across all 10 CTTs. Thank you to everyone whose dedication, professionalism, and teamwork made it happen. Hereβs to building on that in 2026. π¬π§
It is my privilege to be a Deputy Lieutenant. Today I was humbled to meet 106 year-old David Niel & present him with (another) birthday message from the King. An army veteran of North Africa & Italy, his secret to longevity is a bowl of cornflakes & banana every morning.
I'm here on 51X FAAW Crse for CTT, AFC, and CCF personnel. I'm requalifying my FAAW qual. We have a healthy mix of Snr Cdts & AVs from both ACF & CCF. The crse is being directed by our very own CCT FAAW Instr, Sgt Davie Ritchie. Enthusiasm is in abundance.π«‘ @ArmyCadetsHQ@HqCtt

I attended the ACF BTO Conf this morning, the first in a long time. We also have RMQ K Qual running for 12 CFAV students. The weather isn't too kind to us today. it's a bit blustery and cold on Castlelaw Range in the Penland Hills. Still, the students are upbeat. π«‘ @ArmyCadetsHQ
This morning, the BIA conducted an intro to shooting with the L98-A2 Cdt GP Rifle. Good effort from all, under the eye of the CTT Trg Instrs. This afternoon, they will finish off the course with Risk Assessment Pratitioners training. π«‘ @AcctUk@ArmyCadetsHQ@HqCtt@ColCdts51X
