[CW transphobia] 🧵 This Pride month a lot is being said by @UKLabour about its history on LGBTQ+ rights so we thought we'd provide some recent history of what one of its MPs has been up to over the past three years, because they seem reluctant to mention it.
People sleeping rough will have somewhere warm to stay overnight this Winter as Canterbury Community Shelter is able to go ahead. This year, Canterbury Cathedral is taking part in this project.

@miffythegamer Rosie’s vote share went -7% during the last GE while Labour made ground pretty much everywhere else
The locals know her, she’s not as popular as the press coverage suggests
Rosie Duffield quitting the Labour Party within the first 100 days of government, after all that Keir Starmer's leadership attempted to mollify her over trans rights, is really quite funny. https://t.co/U0Ii4N3rRi
@kentishdaisy@CaptainLibatron Watching that clip they still seem to love her. They'll twist themselves into a pretzel to make it fit with her "outspoken" brand.
I agree with Rosie Duffield! The benefit cap is cruel and needs to go. Typically the article is all about her though & she's somehow managed to make a piece about child poverty terf coded while using a picture of her having forty quid pasta with a billionaire
@HamerOnWood She has, and yet the local and national Labour Party have protected her enough so she can keep a cushy job - sitting on twitter while your staff do the work.
That's the thing with radicalisation, they have to play to the gallery. No mention of her constituency or local foodbank just her mates who choose to use their privilege (however they came by it) to punch down. It truly is a disease.
The most you can ever expect in the aftermath of one of Duffield's episodes is a GB News presenter saying "You're not a bigot are you Rosie?" and she says "of course not" and that's that.
@UKLabour And they are fine with the way that Every. Single. Time. She ducks scrutiny by blocking and locking, and by not facing her constituents and answering their questions.
Today, @SianBerry and I wrote to @WesStreeting expressing our serious concerns about his recent statement on puberty blockers
