Central Texas Table of Grace is a non-profit organization that provides shelter, healthy food & life-skills training for foster children in our community.
We are so thankful to every single one of you!
We could not do this work alone.

We are thankful for moments like this! Reunification and collaboration! We had a sibling set of 6 with us for 8 months. We finally got the call that they were going home! Read the full story in the comments below! Thank You @FostervillageTX for helping!
Soon after the 2022-2023 school year had started we got a sibling set of 6 kiddos at our shelter. They came with very little, had to start new schools and were very scared about their futures. This was their first time in Foster Care.
It Truely takes a VILLAGE to support our children, youth and families experiencing foster care! It’s moments like this that make our work worth the struggle! This is worth fighting for!
At Table of Grace, we had the suitcases, we had most of the clothing needed but we didn’t have spare beds or other resources. Foster Village came in and loaded up our volunteers with everything needed. Our team delivered and helped the family set up the home!
It is also such an honor to partner with local organizations like @fostervillageaustin to help with the final touches our families need to bring their kids home. This family needed beds, bedding, clothing, booster seats and groceries to meet the deadline.
People often say to us that they couldn’t do this work because they would get attached. We do! We get very attached. But we also get to celebrate in these moments. It’s such a huge WIN to see families do the hard work of healing and restoring!
We had lots of ups and downs together. Thanks to so many of you we were able to keep them together up until last week when we got the exciting call “The kids are going home!” 😭🎉
Reunification is always the goal for us! But it’s sure hard to say goodbye!

We want to give a big shout out to the Chaparral Womens group and friends! They came and totally transformed our storage spaces this past weekend. WOW! We can actually see what we have and move around!

If you feel like you’re not moving fast enough, remember this: Just as a seed doesn’t turn into a tree the day after it’s planted, neither do your efforts.
Keep going! The fruit will come!
