Being objective, and after his first season, I would say he has shown some flashes of him being potentially on a better trajectory, but it certainly is not “a lot higher”.

If Amen ever develops a semblance of a jumpshot, the ceilings are very close. Amen is far more athletic and will be a better defender. His effective FG% is already excellent and a shot people will respect could open up a lot of things for him.

Former HVAC Territory Sales Manager for an ICP distributor (Carrier “sister brands”). This Sounds like maybe this contractor is not a Carrier dealer and he is buying at list price.

The board is still expensive (and over-priced) but it should be around $2500-3500.00 on the high end.

Chances are, he spoke to some dunce counter guy that had no clue on what he was doing or quoting.

If you are a contractor and run into this kind of situation, ALWAYS as for a Technical Sales rep. There are very few people at branches that know anything about equipment, much less the high end inverter stuff.

He may be top 15, but is on the last leg of a troubled, toxic career. Will he be healthy for the full year again? Only 1 year left in contract (2nd is an option) and is coming back to play on a team full of wings and no quality guards, plus bad chemistry. Part of the value you get back is roster flexibility and more money to spend going forward.

There is value in rounding out the gaps of this team with shooting and a G with size in Joe. I guess Sasser is not available, but both Joe and Collins are 40%+ 3pt shooters. If you can wrangle a 1st pick from Detroit, you are getting superb value and selling high.

This team is not going anywhere with or without KD. I am on team re-setting the timeline back to the youth movement. We lack the top end talent, coaching and roster balance to win.

Good news is that him, Udoka and FVV should be gone unless they have an extremely deep run (you could argue that it truly is championship or bust now).

His path to “the greatest player ever” is already tainted. He’ll be good, no doubt, but unlike failures from the other GOAT candidates, he is not putting any numbers worthy of that title. Spurs came in as the favorite, with a “better” roster on paper and he has had a hand in giving away these games.

Maybe this will humble the young man. He is far too arrogant this early in his career.

@RottenApple80 @RedNationBlogga I am a little disappointed. It was easy. Modernize summit logo, get rid of Bramstoker R. NO PIN STRIPES. Make the shorts like the OG ones with just rings of colors at the bottom of the leg opening and white colored waist band for red unis and red for Black and White.
