On this week's Kids Media Club podcast episode, we had the pleasure of chatting with the brilliant @CTav , co-host of the Media Beat podcast, about YouTube and streaming. We discussed the olden days of YouTube, the under-the-radar rise of YouTube premium, and whether YouTube has, in fact, won the streaming wars. https://t.co/UeJoQfoKLK
Husband very torn between his natural fair play persona and “it would be quite convenient if a few South African players could be hit very hard with no lasting damages but some short term difficulties” intrusive thoughts. #RSAvsTGA#fra
Brilliant to see @marcusryder and the @FilmTVCharity on this list. And just because it’s also on the list - I saw #RyeLane this weekend and it is truly lovely - don’t miss it!
Wow! Just wow!!
To be name checked as a 2023 trailblazer for #BlackHistoryMonth by @Nadine_Writes is amazing.
Thank you 🙏🏾

Our Chair of Trustees, @CTav , spoke to @ConnorPhillips on @bbc5live last night, highlighting how the Charity supports people working behind the scenes in film, TV and cinema who are experiencing bullying and harassment.
A huge welcome to you @marcusryder. Between the Hollywood strikes and some of the news headlines over the weekend, the work of @FilmTVCharity is more critical than ever. There is no-one I can think of more qualified than you to take it on and work with the brilliant team there.
Today I start a new job as CEO of @FilmTVCharity. I take on the role at one of the most important times for both the charity & industry, read why:

#EdinburghTVFest is upon us! 📺
Tomorrow at 4:45pm, don’t miss our panel, ‘Production Under Pressure: Supporting Life on the Frontline’, with our incoming CEO @MarcusRyder, @TVsDeanWebster, Kirsty Good, Claire Fone, chaired by Louise Benson! 🎬
Oppenheimer is suitably dazzling and impressive. I do have a couple of issues with it:
- the next time I see a screen wife adjust her genius husband’s tie as he walks out to enjoy towering success about something, I will SCREAM
- please stop asking Kenneth Branagh to do accents
I can’t wait to get started with @marcusryder and the amazing team at @FilmTVCharity. An incredible group of people working to improve conditions in the screen sector for all.
Exciting news from The Film and TV Charity: Marcus Ryder MBE has been appointed as the organisation's new chief executive officer, while Claire Tavernier has been appointed as the new chair of trustees.

To be honest I have been obsessed with Wendy Malick since my parents thought watching Dream On as a family would be a bonding experience. It wasn’t, but I learnt a lot.
Loving seeing Wendy Malick (72) as a love interest for Harrison Ford (80) on #Shrinking. First of all she is gorgeous, and secondly not having the ick factor of the usual 30 years age difference is truly restful for the soul.
@RDH_tweets Have you watched Giri/ Haji Richard? It’s absolutely brilliant. On Netflix. A crime thriller which takes place in Tokyo and London, with Kelly McDonald and Will Sharpe on the UK side.
