@marklamster How tough a slight change to go ahead and utilize the wealth of central utilities that traverse the inner loop we call downtown to put 1-2MSF of underground data center space under new convention center footprint. Why the hell not. Earn money. Old DMNHQ could be reconsidered.
@WalkableDFW 12 years ago I moved to Dallas and specifically chose a home and workplace within a 15 minute walk of a rail station on both ends. I've been car-free since that day for the daily grind. Policy-makers that want to burn it all down, only drive a car. They also apparently don't walk
Are we really going to go with pronouncing this *Bo Dark* Lake instead of Bois D'Arc? Also, meet Rusty Bass. You can't make this up. Absolutely no offense to Rusty - though. https://t.co/NmVaf1h5HG #NorthTexas
Grocery store space for lease at a future new-build Convention Center on the fringe of Downtown could be a very do-able idea. Flexible space to re-allocate if nec. You have parking as nec., you have nec. loading docks. Train. Bus. They'll come. @AldiUSA#Dallas#DowntownDallas
@kristoncapps For anyone interested, this is what I found about a week ago. 1907 spire, 1838s tower crane boxes, rest roof height points incl. podium bldgs air space. They all made it to "Work in Progress" status. So they got past earliest prelims and "Add Letters". Much more to follow!
