@sootgremlin_ We're all going to miss you. Thank you so much for everything you've done for this community. Hope you're going to do amazing in whatever you decide to pursue in the future
Not really. This is a normal thing in software. Different teams are just working on different projects at the same time. Plus, even with the usual big yearly updates this was already the case because Mojang was already working on the concept of the next update while another one was being worked on.
@randomdude5745@MintRefresh_MC That kinda is still the case tho because Agnes made a comment about how adventure is one of their main focuses in the coming years. If that doesn't scream "We're working on something behind the scenes" then idk what does.
@harristic_ What's your opinion on Agnes saying one of the areas they want to focus on is adventures? She even said the next few years will be "exciting" (I don't know of I'm just coping because we didn't get dungeons gameplay or not)
@itiswattles Honestly I'm not mad at all. I think it's really good. Im just happy that Agnes finally confirmed that Adventure is a long term initiative so now I can rest easy knowing they're definitely working on something
@Zkethmusic Would definitely love to do that. I'm currently busy with like prepping for my finals at the end of the year so I'd probably be inactive till then but that'd be cool
@CagilMartin isn't this like that one covid live situation where some parts of the live where prerecorded because those devs couldn't make it for the actual show?
Arguably the worse outcome cause it means MT still needs to use Unity after they fired most of the devs who are used to the engine. They also can't get help from Epic Games devs because they're more skilled in unreal and wouldn't understand the spaghetti code that MT has left behind.
@zombienate101@SparkUniverse It is technically still in preview/beta but they put it out of experimental so it'll likely release alongside the Chaos Cubed Update
I despise how much they don't like owning uo to their mistakes when it comes to the awful decisions they make. They killed their own Metaverse concept (by refusing to update the modes they're ending), decide to pay millions to ai slop creators, fund a fucking lawsuit and decide to layoff their best devs because they can't pay their bills. I'm genuinely done with this game. I was so excited to play the new season but all this news genuinely made me lose all interest again. I hope everyone affected can find jobs with higher ups not as scummy as Epic's.
