On this day in 1964, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. At today's morning prayers, Gesu's community reflected on how we can live Dr. King's legacy & promote peace & racial justice in our classrooms, our homes, our neighborhoods, and in our world.
It's #IndigenousPeoplesDay. We hope non-Indigenous educators will reflect on how to honor Indigenous voices and strive to "see the heart of these stories—and recognize and set aside their internalized misconceptions about Native life, people, and nations."
