Cardiff @socialistudents|Myfyrwyr Sosialaidd Caerdydd - fighting for a revolutionary alternative to capitalism. We organise protests and actions - get involved!
Important day for comrades today, running stalls in and outside of the Cardiff University Fresher’s Fair. A really strong feeling of anger amongst students about their treatment and their future ✊
If what the exit poll says is true things look bad for labour and are only going to get worse for ordinary people. But this is not the end of the fight whoever is in government we have to stand and fight against whatever attacks they are going to throw. #GeneralElection ✊
The Tories are introducing Voter ID at polling stations.
11 million don’t have a driving license or passport - disproportionately affecting ethnic minorities and poorer people.
Only one person was found guilty of voter fraud in the 2017 election.
This is voter suppression.
This week we discuss how capitalism is incapable of solving the growing climate crisis and how we need to fundamentally change society to save our planet. Join our discussion at 8 on Monday on the 4th floor of the SU!

Following a successful Freshers Fair, Socialist Student's Cardiff first meeting was a packed one. Thanks to Theo for a brilliant lead off, and thanks to all in attendance. We hope to fight for socialism harder than ever this year.
New year and the society is starting to meet again! If any current students are following we have our first meeting of the academic year, on Wednesday in the John Percival building (Check Our Facebook for more details).
