@kc_dos_siete@balkwhisperer If everyone reaches one base safely, the balk is ignored.
R1 made it to second and the batter-runner made it to first.
In your scenario the balk is ignored and R1 is out at 3rd.
@alexinman@RefObserver17 You stated that accountability was taken for the Iowa-Nebraska officials. That’s false at this point. There MAY be something for them, but you don’t work Round of 16 and then Round of 8.
You indicated those officials didn’t work Elite 8 because of accountability. That’s false.
@alexinman From the 36 officials who worked weekend #2, 9 are chosen to work the Final Four and National Championship.
I know there is accountability for officials; it’s how they are chosen to advance (or not). Just understand when accountability hits.
@alexinman 96 officials work the opening weekend. All officials work a Round of 64 game. From the 96, 48 advance to the next Round (of 32).
Following opening weekend, 40 officials are selected for weekend #2. 36 of them work one Sweet 16 or Elite 8 game, while 4 are standby officials.
@HuskGuys There have been multiple occasions of Busch Light kegs and cases being hauled into red establishments.
Not OKC level Husker turnout, but impressive none the less.
