Helpful reminder today - Not everything that happens is good in itself, but this doesn’t mean it falls outside the scope of God’s plans and purposes. Also, the disciples seriously screwed up, but look what God would soon do through them ... none of us is beyond hope. #XII

We live in the era of fake news, unreliable facts & fluid truth. This is not new. Ever since in the garden the snake asked, “did God really say?” truth has been under threat. Yet Jesus promises that one day we’ll know the truth, discover it in him, and it will set us free. #XII

As we approach Mothers Day, it’s apt to reflect on Mary’s extravagant act of worship and gratitude. She used her femininity to do something beautiful for Jesus and he was tremendously blessed by it. What beautiful thing can you do for God to say thank you? #XII

Why did Jesus wait so long before heading to Bethany, thus allowing Lazarus to die? We wonder why God allows us to go through suffering. Why doesn’t he intervene? Ultimately, like Mary & Martha we have no choice but to trust that somehow his good purposes will be worked out. #XII
