Thanks to @herbchen, Chair of Surgery and Surgeon-in-Chief at @UABSurgery, for a great Grand Rounds on Parathyroid Surgery and additional session with the residents and medical students regarding a career in academic surgery.
We enjoyed hosting high school seniors from @WHSChaps for their annual career day. The morning started off with a panel discussion with residents, medical students, and faculty. Later we trained them in @StopTheBleedACS . They also practiced surgical skills and FLS.
