In preparation for the next season of Con-Versailles-Tions, I thought I'd watch Season 2 of Versailles.
I wasn't banking on getting emotional over it, though.
This series and the podcast mean more to me than I can ever express.
Thank you.
OUT NOW !!
What a season finale ⚜️ Thank you for joining us live online as George, Alex and Noemie rekindle their love triangle again. Episode 10 now on all platforms https://t.co/rmkAV2xrfF
It's been an honor and a pleasure to watch the final episode of Alex's and George's Con-Versailles-Tion podcast of season 1 LIVE. What a grand finale to a series of great behind-the-scenes interviews with lots of guests from the series. This episode paid tribute not only to episode 1.10 but also to gorgeous actress Noémie Schmidt, who made her first big debut in a TV series as Henrietta of England.
Our heartfelt thanks to Noémie, Alex, and George for the profound insights they shared in the series, particularly in the final episode that concluded with the heart-wrenching demise of Henrietta. These poignant scenes truly resonated with us as viewers, brilliantly brought to life by all three actors. The fact that Henrietta's death scene was also Noémie's final scene in the series adds a bittersweet note to the entire performance.
If you haven't had the chance to delve into the podcast series yet, we strongly recommend you do so. It offers a profound glimpse into the series production, providing both serious and humorous insights into one of the most ambitious series filmed in the past decade. To put it into perspective, season 1 alone had a budget of 30 million euros.
You can learn more about the series on our blog.
Finally, a big thank you to the hosts Alex and George and producer Nicki Oebel (Cowhousefilms) for a more than successful season 1. We can hardly wait for you to open the door to season 2 and share more great stories with us. Until we meet again...
