GM cut 1,000+ roles at Factory Zero while adding ~50 robots.

General Motors just replaced 1,000 workers with 50 robots at its flagship plant in the United States.
The tension between human labor and advanced automation reached a boiling point in Detroit as General Motors (GM) deployed 50 collaborative robots, or 'cobots,' at its flagship Factory Zero electric vehicle assembly plant in Michigan.
This technological upgrade coincided with the elimination of more than 1,000 jobs at the facility, drawing fierce criticism from the United Auto Workers (UAW) union. While GM claims the robots are intended to work alongside humans to improve safety and ergonomics, union officials argue that the machines are a cost-cutting measure that strips union members of their livelihoods.
This aggressive shift toward automation comes as GM faces weaker-than-expected consumer demand for electric vehicles, forcing the automaker to scale back its EV ambitions and find new ways to reduce manufacturing costs. The Factory Zero layoffs follow other recent job cuts at GM, including the termination of more than 600 salaried IT and engineering roles. As automakers increasingly leverage robotics to stay competitive, the escalating friction between corporate bottom lines and labor preservation highlights a challenging path forward for the American manufacturing workforce.

Illegal aliens should be removed from voter rolls.
Only American citizens should vote in
American elections.
This should be common sense, not controversial.
The President supports it.
The House Freedom Caucus supports it.
The American people support it.
The Senate is out of excuses. PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT.
Trump came out of his meeting with the Senate standing next to Rick Scott... and Mike Lee ... Thune was barely visible
You folks wanted Trump to get involved and he did... the power of X is real
Hit that like button if you want Thune to step down and let Scott or Lee take over
According to Gallup, 84% of Americans want Voter I.D. It's a bipartisan issue we can all get behind, which is why I'm still fighting to pass the SAVE America Act in Congress.
And I'm not backing down.
Let me set the record straight for those who can read.
I have been voicing my strong support for the SAVE Act since it's been introduced.
As I said today, I will stand on one leg and bark like a dog if that’s what it takes to get this bill passed.
This is not hard. 80% of the American people want the SAVE America Act to pass, not 80% of Republicans, 80% of Americans.
The only organization that refuses to act is the United States Senate.
We have a responsibility to secure the voting process for the American people.
