En total, la cifra habría superado los 1.000 millones de dólares. El dinero se entregaba en maletas llenas de dólares, con escolta, según el documental, de la seguridad israelí.

La película sostiene que esto formaba parte de una estrategia deliberada de “divide y gobierna”: mantener a Hamás en Gaza y a la Autoridad Palestina en Cisjordania, evitando una unidad política y permitiendo a Netanyahu argumentar que no había un socio real para la paz. El exministro de Defensa israelí Avigdor Lieberman, que renunció a su cargo, dijo que el ataque del 7 de octubre fue una “consecuencia” de la decisión tomada en 2018 de seguir con estos pagos. Netanyahu, por su parte, ha defendido que el objetivo era mantener la calma en la frontera sur de Israel.

The Israeli death toll for Oct 7th 2023 has been rounded up to 1,200 after being revised down TWICE.
The actual total is 1,195

346 were IDF and thus active combatants.
66 were police officers & 10 Shin Bet Agents, although armed were civilians and are part of the civilian total
There is no public record for any Mossad Agents killed, they would be classed as active combatants.
It's been confirmed that Hannibal Directive has been implemented, sources Haaretz, Times of Israel, Jerusalem Post.

Israel has killed more than 835 people before lunch on any given day and has been doing so for almost two years.

The current Gaza death toll since Oct 7th 2023 is 67,139
bearing in mind that's a conservative estimate that only counts direct deaths, not indirect deaths arising from secondary causes i.e. the systematic destruction of healthcare and agriculture. It also doesn't account for all those still buried under rubble.

The real total is already likely double or triple the figure being reported and The Lancet touched upon this early in the genocide.

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari is on record confirming that " military officers were among the captives" and Haaretz reported that " a substantial number were Israeli soldiers", although no official figures have been provided.

Captured soldiers would be classed as active combatants and technically would be Prisoners of War and not hostages in a traditional sense.
Israel currently holds 3,327 Palestinians, many women and children in prison without trail or charge.

The Guardian reported that "Israeli military database indicates only a quarter of Gaza detainees are fighters", therefore 3/4 are non-combatants and therefore should be classed as hostages much in the same way that civilians captured by Hamas are hostages and all hostages should be immediately and unconditionally released.

Now lets address the asymmetrical elephant in the room.

In a single month Israel dropped more bombs on Gaza than USA dropped on Afghanistan in any single year 2001-2021
bearing in mind that Afghanistan is 652,867 km² whereas Gaza is only 365 km² and was one of the most densely populated places on earth with mainly children as the average age in Gaza was only 18 compared to 38/40 in USA/UK

Now, lets take the current Gaza total of 67,139 at face value and try and visualise it.
For me, that's like every man, woman and child in my town being killed more than 6 times over.
It's like the entire capacity of Anfield 61,276, plus each team, substitutes, coaches, managers, referees and support staff all being killed with a few thousand having to be killed twice.

All lives are of equal worth and everyone deserves justice, none more than any other.
NEVER AGAIN must mean NEVER AGAIN for everyone, including Jews
It must NOT mean NEVER AGAIN for only one group of people, excluding everyone apart from Jews.
