@Bickley_Marotta It's Michael Jordan. Worldwide even people who don't know Michael Jordan, could name Michael Jordan from his air Jordan silhouette/logo.
I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.
i don’t think the frustration with the thunder is that they draw a lot of fouls (at least, it shouldn’t be). it’s that it feels like their opponent doesn’t ever feel like they’re allowed the same bandwidth to be physical
This brand of “basketball” is detrimental to the game. It’s impromptu theater. If the league wants to keep this product entertaining, they need to eliminate this sort of behavior from the game entirely. It’s blatantly obvious that is not a natural motion.
More players and coaches should speak out about double standards when it comes to OKC. They're allowed to play more physical than anybody else on defense and at the same time get rewarded for flopping on offense. No other team gets that whistle on both ends of the floor.
Devin Booker just put the league on notice.
“I heard Caruso tell them to call the tech and he ended up doing it. In my 11 years, I haven't called a ref out by name, but James Williams was terrible tonight... People are going to start viewing this as the WWE.”
The NBA is wild.
The difference in officiating that everyone in the league sees for the Thunder vs their opponents has gotten so bad that a perennial All Star/All NBA guy just compared the sport to the WWE. Adam Silver’s NBA ladies and gentleman…
And if you watch the game back you'll see no less than 6 to 8 plays where said Thunder player snaps head back as if hit by sniper fire. Its become an art form for them. Those acting classes are paying off. #Smdh
SGA must be training the whole OKC team to master flopping
Chet literally just falls with NO contact and gets the call. Guy is just boxing him out.
This is a DISGRACE
@OfficialNBARefs FIX THIS BS 🤦🏻♂️
